Carmanah Autumn “Trade Show Season” a Success

Wednesday, November 16th, 2011

Carmanah Signs has finished off a successful autumn trade show season, having had an exhibit booth at three major shows in the last few weeks: the Global Gaming Exhibition (G2E), the annual National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) show and the annual North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) show. A variety of Carmanah’s in-house designed LED and LCD sign products were on display at these three exhibitions.

Carmanah Signs booth G2E in Las Vegas was fortunate enough to be featured in the local Las Vegas Sun newspaper, with a photograph showing the installation of our EvenLit super-slim LED-lit Light Boxes into a large LED Light Panel wall assembly. We also showed off two new Table Limit signs: the Vegas LCD Table Limit sign and the Petite LED Table Limit sign. The booth also displayed a sample of LED-lit double-sided Table Games signs as well. Overall, G2E 2011 appeared to be the best attended since 2008, with a very high number of booth visits and interested casino Table Games managers.

The NACS show in Chicago was an opportunity to show off Carmanah’s digital signage offerings. On display for both the C-store chain managers as well as brand managers were the new counter top wirelessly-updated lottery jackpot sign, the window wirelessly-updated lottery jackpot sign and the brand new LCD advertising sign. In addition, the EvenLit LED-lit Light Panel product line was on display.

Last but not least, Carmanah’s booth at the NASPL show in Indianapolis highlighted the variety and quality of the digital lottery jackpot signage that Carmanah Signs has developed and sold over the last 5 years. The lottery sign product line now includes the EvenLit LED light panel line with wirelessly-updated jackpots for both large and small lotto signage, as well as a LCD retail signage that can not only display jackpots but advertising for both the lottery and the retailer.

Carmanah thanks all our partners and customers that dropped by our exhibition booths to say hello.

G2E – What a Great Success!

Friday, October 14th, 2011

This year was one of the most successful shows for Carmanah Signs in the 13 years of exhibiting at G2E. As G2E moved to the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, it was not only a new beginning for the show but felt like a new beginning for Carmanah as well. Carmanah’s booth was eye-catching from the start, from the overall design of the booth to the array of innovative illuminated LED signs and LCD signs on display. Carmanah Signs even made the Las Vegas Sun paper, seen here setting up a wall mural of LED Illuminated Light Panels.

Carmanah also unveiled two new casino signs at the show this year, a sophisticated LCD table limit sign called the Vegas and a stylish LED table limit sign called the Petite, which both drew a lot of attention.

The new Vegas LCD table limit sign is a sophisticated LCD Table Limit sign with powerful promotional capabilities. We have listened to the Table Game Manager’s needs and really delivered an exceptional sign.

“After soliciting extensive input from our casino customers, we’ve packed a ton of functionality into the Vegas. We’ve designed a sign that meets all the form and function requirements for a modern casino, including compatibility with any future networked digital signage systems.” JP, VP product Development, Carmanah Signs

The new Petite table limit sign is, just as the name suggests, Carmanah’s most compact sign, designed to allow clear sight lines throughout the pit. The Petite has all the elegant LED beauty of its big brother, the Classic.

Both Table Limits signs will be available early 2012.
