Carmanah’s global team of sales professionals have deep experience in the lottery, casino and broad gaming industries, and are supported by Carmanah’s engineering and manufacturing professionals.
The sales team’s core objective is to help our lottery, casino and gaming customers to engage and retain players by providing digital media experiences, digital sign networks and value-added LED signs.
Max is an experienced Business Development and Account Management Professional with an accomplished sales & sales management history in the lottery, gaming equipment and pharmaceuticals industries. Max has a deep understanding of the point-of-sales environments of lotteries, casinos and global brands and has grown Carmanah through B2B & B2G relationships. As the sales & customer service leader of Carmanah Signs for twelve years, he collaborates with Carmanah’s Product Development team to deliver in-store signage that drives brand awareness and increases retail sales. Max has completed Executive Development courses at Columbia Business School.
Cameron joined Carmanah Signs in 2005 as General Manager and has been President since 2009. Cameron has led the company into technology-driven retail signage and in-store communications offerings, driven the single objective of increasing the retail sales of Carmanah’s customers. His previous roles include operations management and business development in the chemical, engineering and environmental industries, and he was a co-founder of business consulting firm. Cameron is a registered Professional Engineer and has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
David is responsible for leading Carmanah’s European and African business development agenda. David has more than 27 years of sales, marketing and business development experience working for major global corporations within both the Lottery and FMCG industries. Before joining Carmanah, David led the global lottery retail development agenda for GTECH S.p.A/IGT for 7 years. Prior to that, he worked for The Coca-Cola Company for 20 years, where he held a multitude of senior sales, marketing and business development roles, and was responsible for developing Coca-Cola’s global business with major retailers including Tesco, Ahold, Shell, BP and United Cinemas International.
Sarah joined Carmanah as a Sales Coordinator in 2014, bringing eight years of retail sales & merchandising experience as a team leader at one of Canada’s top retailers. As a sales manager for three years, Sarah modeled exceptional customer service and established herself as a proficient sales strategist and retail merchandiser. Sarah holds a certificate in graphic communications from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Jennifer Rushton joined Carmanah Signs in 2014 as Business Development Manager, responsible for sales and customer service of digital sign products and services to North American casinos and resorts. Jennifer has fifteen years’ experience in the gaming industry, having worked with online gaming developers early in her career and manufacturers of casino equipment and supplies more recently. Jennifer studied at York University in Toronto and, with her commitment to life-long learning, continually develops her skills through various courses.
Melanie Farkas joined Carmanah Signs in 2008, having previously worked at the former parent company, Carmanah Technologies. Since 2009 she has been responsible for the sales and customer service of LED and digital table game signage to the global casino industry. Melanie has nearly ten years experience bringing exceptional customer service to her clients, and has established an excellent track record of sign sales and customer satisfaction during her time at Carmanah.
