An existing US Lottery customer has ordered additional LED-illuminated wirelessly-updated Lotto Jackpot Signs from Carmanah. This particular Lottery was an early adopter of jackpot awareness signage, and was one of the first to place always-updated signage in lottery retailer windows. After installing the Carmanah Jackpot signs at all of their retailers in 2009, the Lottery found a significant sales increase due the lotto game awareness created by the signs’ brand reminder and current jackpot at the point of sale. The new order includes 500 triple LED illuminated jackpot signs plus an additional 500 single jackpot signs, which together form a flexible 4-jackpot unit. The single jackpot signs have the option of being mounted to the triple jackpot sign in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. This modular feature has proven to be valuable because it allows for alternate mounting configurations to meet the layout of different retailer window locations. This is a great feature in that not all locations will have the space for the same mounting orientation. The modular feature was a customer-driven innovation in 2010. The success of Carmanah Signs LED illuminated jackpot signs have been in part due to the sign brightness and the robust wireless functionality and the willingness to provide solutions for unique customer situations such as this. Carmanah jackpots signs also have the built-in ability to replace the illuminated face plate, allowing our lottery customers to update their choice of games and/or to update the game logo. Overall, the flexibility of both modularity and changeable faceplates gives Lotteries full flexibility to update, add and modify their jackpot signage to match their current marketing efforts.
