Single Jackpot SignsSingle jackpot signs are favored by lotteries where only one lotto game is currently promoted. It is possible to add additional jackpot games to the single jackpot signs at a future date using Carmanah’s modular hardware system.
Double Jackpot SignsDouble jackpot signs are most commonly used by lotteries to advertise and cross sell either two multi-jurisdictional games, or a multi-jurisdictional game and state Lotto game. They are available in either a horizontal orientation, where the game name is above the jackpot value, or vertical orientation, where the game name is beside the jackpot value.
Triple Jackpot SignsTriple jackpot signs are most commonly used by lotteries to promote a combination of multi-jurisdictional games as well as state Lotto games such as Pick Six and Pick 5. They are available in either a horizontal orientation, where the game name is above the jackpot value, or vertical orientation, the preferred format for locations where window and wall space may be contrained.

Wireless ConnectivityAll Carmanah jackpot signs can be updated wirelessly. There are a number of options available. The most common is to use Carmanah's Smart-Com™ transceiver connected to the lottery terminal via USB or RS485 connection. The jackpot value is sent from the lottery central system, the most reliable method. Cellular GPRS connectivity and Ethernet connectivity are options, and is most often used where no lottery terminal is available.
Adding a Jackpot by ModuleAll Large Footprint jackpot signs feature the ability to seamlessly add an additional jackpot game using Carmanah's modular hardware system. The additional game uses power from the existing sign and is updated via the existing Carmanah Smart-Com™ transceiver.
Digit OptionsCarmanah offers a number of jackpot digit options. The most common chosen by lotteries is the Hi Brite bar style digits. Additionally, discrete or "dot style" digits in both single row and double row versions are available and are the preferred choice by some lottery customers. For large footprint jackpot signs, digits of 4" (~10cm) or 5" (~12.5cm) heights. Custom heights and colors are available but not commonly used.
Toggle Display Option
The Toggle Display Option is an LED text display with fixed text, for example "Thousands" and "Millions", or "Mil" and "Millones". One or the other denominations is illuminated when a jackpot changes denomination. For example when a jackpot of 890 Thousand changes to 1.2 Million the text will display the corresponding denomination. The text is selected and controlled centrally.
Alpha Numeric Display Option
The "Alpha Numeric Display Option" can be used to display a combination of numbers and letters. It is most commonly used to display a jackpot value with discrete or dot style LEDs in combination with a denomination, draw day of the week, or a call to action.
Back Graphic Option
The "Back Graphic Option" optimizes the use of retail space occupied by the jackpot sign when it is placed in the retailer window. It consists of a metal bracket attached to the back of the sign which holds in place a printed graphic. The graphics can easily be changed by hand and can display draw dates, instant ticket advertising or a retailer message.
Vinyl Banner Option
The "Vinyl Banner Option" is a printed vinyl sticker adhered to any jackpot sign's housing. It provides an opportunity to display draw dates, a call to action or promote the lottery website. Vinyl banners are available on all styles of Carmanah jackpot signs.
